Hire Sam Hinkie, and here's why:

Just look at all the talent the 76ers have right now.

Fultz
Stauskas, Gerald Henderson
Robert Covington, Timothé Luwawu, Justin Anderson
Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor
Joel Embiid

They essentially have the pieces in place to fill out their roster and have assets to trade and improve what they currently have. They Trusted the Process for just long enough, and the Knicks should too.

Your move, Dolan.

The process works if you have an owner who's willing to take huge financial losses for 4-5 years for the chance to build a super team in the future.

Good start already with Kristaps and Billy

If Ntilikina turns into a player, that's three right there

The Knicks are more of a destination. They can attract players who want to live in and around New York City. With proper management they can build a lot faster than Philly has.

They can turn things around in probably 3-4 years as long as they are willing to eat Lee and Noah's deals rather than take on worse deals or throw picks at teams to be rid of them.

Clearing their cap space in about 2-3 years, possibly sooner if they are willing to stretch one or both, lets them start pursuing free agents again provided they don't hand out more stupid fricking deals.

Get Calipari. He wants to prove himself in the big leagues.

This.

Which is why they need to hire Hinkie.

You realize this isn't impressive...yet.

Simmons hasn't played a NBA game yet. Embiid is injury plagued. Fultz hasn't proven anything. Saric is a solid role player. Okafor sucks. They just gave away Noel.

You are talking 4 years of tanking and still lots of question marks and missed draft picks.

Joel Embiid has played 31 games in three years and Ben Simmons hasn't played in any games. The process just gets your hopes up

He was crucified, died, and was buried. Maybe the Knicks can fulfill the prophecy.

Hernangomez, yes.

Skilled big man. Looks to be a solid starter.
