The Indians have chosen a new name. Lots of Twitter rumors it will be "Guardians"

I'm a native Clevelander and diehard Indians fan and I hate this. The guardians refer to statues on the Lorain Ave/Carnegie Bridge which basically goes right by the stadium.
So pissed the woke crowd had to take away a name that has only been in existence for 100+ years but somehow just recently became offensive.
MLB basically forced the franchise to remove all signs of Chief Wahoo in order to give Cleveland the 2019 ASG as well.

I get the local reference but it sounds like a nickname for a spring football league team. Cleveland Tower would have been a better choice for an edifice theme.
