I think it would be good for the nba to bring the knicks back to life.

The league has been just fine without them.

There have been expansion teams and dynasties since their last title 40 years ago. The Heat now as an expansion team have more titles than the Knicks.

He didn't go there in 10, why would he go there now.

So why didn't he go there in 10?

The Knicks have 92M on the books for next year if Melo doesn't opt out. 70M if he does.

How do you see the Knicks affording Lebron this year?

They have 2 championships from over 40 years ago. What's with certain people who keep saying that the NBA wants the Knicks to be "back"

The Knicks haven't been a championship team at any point during the NBA's best periods

We gonna bring him to Memphis, after which Robert Pera will challenge him to a game of 1 on 1.

All 3 opt out.

Bosh and Lebron sign for 15 mill a year

D Wade signs for 10 mill a year and becomes 6th man

Lance Stephenson signs for 10 mill a year.

Cleveland and San Antonio are the best choices by far.

I doubt he comes back to Cleveland, but it'd be interesting to see what he could do with that roster. They have talent (offensively, at least), the immaturely and lack of locker room leadership is a problem.

Honestly one of the most glaring weaknesses I saw come out in this series was the fact that the Heat don't have shite for rebounding.

I know they purposely don't have a philosophy that focuses on getting second chance opportunities, but the fact that they couldn't even remotely compete for rebounds was a big factor imo.

That wont change as long as they have the Big 3 and play small ball.

A high energy bench player, like Chris Anderson, will be their only big time rebounder.

When you have Chris Bosh playing Center and he is usually sitting in the corner or at the top of the key during offensive plays, you know getting offensive rebounds isn't part of the strategy. This also effects the defensive end because 6'11 skinny arse bosh can't take on an elite post presence such as Tim Duncan. Then again, not many can.. amirite!?

Exactly.

I know this was part of their strategy, it just bit them in the arse big time this go round.

LeBron has never played with a traditional center who was actually somewhat good, so I'm sure that would be interesting.

A type of player I always wanted him to play with is someone like Tyson Chandler. A guy who isn't going to command the ball but can pick and roll to the basket. Get a bunch of rebounds and some putbacks while playing good defense.

This must explain the Knicks talk around here.
