The Cavaliers, per league sources, have been working today on assembling multi-team trade scenarios to try to acquire Chicago's Jimmy Butler

Doubt they have the ammo to pull it off. Think they are trying to get Boston to panic

Chicago got a big time offer for Butler by Boston during the deadline didn't they? It's gonna take more than a draft pick to get him

A third team would have to do something really dumb to get Love

That's the only way it would work

I think he may still be better off keeping picks for now. He makes them better, but is that enough to beat the Cavs?

Boston needs to be patient either way. Lebron will slow down eventually and you are in a unique position to build for the next decade after Lebron slows down/retires/moves teams

Why panic to become a contender now and still likely not beat Cleveland instead of just focusing on the next 10 years after Bron?

exactly. Someone would have to be generous for any of these Cavs trade proposals to work out

Well obviously not with Butler on Cleveland. A legitimate 2 way player that can get his own shot? That's exactly what Bron wants
