My ex wife thought his nickname was the Big Eunuch. honestly, I think that's a better nickname.

The Astros also gave up on Curt Schilling, meaning they HAD the D-backs rotation with two of the best hitters in baseball to go with it.

I remember Randy hanging around wanting to play with the older kids when we were growing up in Livermore, CA. It's strange to think that Cathy Johnson's (his sister who was my classmate) little brother grew into one of the best pitchers in the history of baseball.

I can't stop laughing at this. I think I'm about to vomit.

Damn, tears are coming out now.

Yep, both had their best years in the Dome.

They also had Caminiti before he roided up and won the MVP, Luis Gonzalez before he roided up and Steve Finley and Bobby Abreu.

In his prime, he threw the nastiest slider I have ever seen in all of my time of watching baseball. It was practically unhittable when he was on.

In 2001 he had a 2.50 ERA despite a .328 BABIP.
