Our only saving grace is that this is happening right before the break.

Stupidity. Sliding is slower than running hard through the bag and far more likely to result in injury.

Is it just me or is Bailey throwing balls that are called strikes and Minor is throwing strikes getting called balls?

I don't understand the point of stretching Wood out (no pun intended) in the middle of the season right before Beachy is ready to go. He has done very well out of the pen and it gives you 7 fricking starters.

And no Chip it isn't an envious position to be in. You are paying 2 guys for absolutely no reason.

Have to believe they are not very comfortable with where Beachy is.

Even if that is the case, it's not like Teheran has been bad. A very good argument can be made that he has been our best starter since the end of April. I guess it would give you an insurance policy, but taking him out of the pen, where he has been very effective, just to make him an insurance policy seems kind of stupid. Unless we plan to move Huddy or Maholm at the deadline, which seems unlikely to me.

No way Teheran will be taken out of the rotation. He has probably been our second best starter. I am starting to think Meds is headed to the pen or Maholm will be dealt.
