Kolby Allard; holy shite.

Also: had no idea Acuna was a speed demon on the bases?

Dude is putting up video game numbers. He's our most valuable prospect and must be considered untouchable at this point.

Chipper says Ozzie ain't ready. I believe him. Chipper was raving about acuna before anyone else.

I would be ok if we sign Phillips to a one year deal this offseason. Ozzie clearly isn't ready yet and could use another year in the minors. Newcomb has the highest upside of our starters but still has issues with walks that can turn him into a bullpen arm.

Yeah, said there were a few things they've given Ozzie that he needs to correct before he's ready. Wonder exactly what those are.

Newcomb's numbers are quietly solid.

Everything is great....except for the walks.

Cut that walk rate in half and he goes from having a 1.37 WHIP to 1.10

What Allard is doing in AA as a 19 year old is incredible. I feel bad for Mike because he has a 3.42 era and he looks bad because of Allard.

Haven't watched Max yet. Wonder what his issue is?

No kidding. He's been studly as well.

3 walks in over 26 innings is absurd. His K rate has increased from last year, H/9 is down. Only thing that has hurt him is an increase in HRs allowed.

Kade is probably pulling a crash Davis when shaken off and giving them the pitch.

But seriously, aa has way more power than rookie ball. Not too concerned about that especially since all the other everything else is down

No doubt. There is nothing to be concerned about with Allard and Soroka. They will be a helluva 1-2 punch for this staff in the near future.

Matt Szczur DFA'd by the Cubs, any chance we pick him up and kick Bonerface to the curb?

Boni is 2 for 3 his last 3 Pinch Hit ABs. He's probably about to get a multi year contract.

I hope so. We need a solid RH bench bat. And of course the game starts that way.

Predict our starting staff in 2019

I'll say:

1.) Allard
2.) Anderson
3.) Newcomb
4.) Soroka
5.) Touki

I'll assume we trade Fried and Gohara

"To a man whose name spelled backwards is Kuhcirg."

What fantastic analysis from Chip. I hate him so much.

They had a vet (Araiza) catching Allard and Soroka's starts in the first month.

Braves traded him to the Os for cash late in April and Soroka has had his only two bad starts since then.

Soroka has gotten a little unlucky from what I've seen of his last two starts with the long ball but you also wonder a little about the catcher change.

Fried has not been sharp at all outside of his start in Montgomery a couple weeks ago.

Did not see Newcomb's last start where he dominated but he has been pretty shaky with the command as well when I've watched. Did not look any different than last year. Misses arm side with the fastball more than anybody I've seen.

Julio is so frustrating right now. He's good for at least 20 pitches per inning every start. Just picks around the zone with bullshite off speed stuff.
