Deadspin: The Atlanta Braves Are Very Bad, And Fredi Gonzalez Isn't Helping

That lineup is atrocious.

For sure. I usually travel to a game or two over the summer, probably holding off this year.

Is the placement of the players in the lineup bad or is the roster bad? Or both? Man, I remember these days not too long ago.

They were solid what 3 years ago? Even though they would still be bad they shouldn't of blew it up like they did. This could be a historically bad season. All in hopes some prospects pan out in the future? Screw this.

I'm still glad they blew it up. There have been several questionable trades in the middle of what has turned out to be a very promising rebuild.

Our previous roster had fatal holes, rising salaries, and nobody in the pipeline.

I think that's the only way you can do it.

You want to turn out like the padres?

Before the season, I sort of jokingly said I wasn't sure they'd win 60. Now I'm seriously not sure they'll win 50. These prospects better be fricking good because these next 3-4 years are going to be miserable baseball.

I'm with you on that, but Jesus Christ himself couldn't win 70 games with this pile of shite roster.

The year to fire Fredi? I hope. We should open the new park with a new manager and get ready to make a run in 2018
