Our Lord and Savior Dansby Swanson is here.
Dansby and Bregman are the fastest 1-2 picks to be promoted since 94 with A-Rod and Dreifort (1993 draft). I think Dansby is clearly the A-Rod of the two. I mean Bregman has a lower career batting average than Dreifort.
We finally have a reason to watch the games now.
WHO IS READY FOR THIS NEW ERA?

I know that a lot of these guys don't get called up because the organizations don't want their player clocks to be started so soon, but given the circumstances, why aren't we calling up more guys than just Swanson?

Probably aren't calling ozzie up due to age. Newcomb seems to be settling in. Build up his confidence no need to rush him.

I'd rather call up a position player too soon than a pitcher too soon. I could be wrong, but in my mind, pitchers development seems more volatile.

Albies has to be on the way soon? Both have been playing well together. Give them some chemistry in the bigs too.

Would not be surprised either way. Think the plan is to wait until September for him. He has yet to face a pitcher younger than him.

Why is everyone in a rush to get Ozzie up as well? The kid is 19. He and Dansby aren't a package that have to be treated the same. We aren't playing for a damn pennant or anything.
