why couldn't the braves tank the last two weeks of baseball to get the #1 pick.
swept the phils h2h.. which directly affects the 3 games behind last place..
actually beating the nats in meaningless games now.. and now they finish with the cards.. the one time the cards won't care to win.

Not going to make much of a difference. There isn't that surefire #1 pick for next year so picking at 2 isn't going to matter.
Coppy pretty much said at one point without saying that if there was a sure thing, then tank mode would have been even stronger than it already was.
