After a rough first inning, Rob really settled down and pitched well. The offense picked him up.
I think Coppy and Hart are right, we are closer than we think.

I was really impressed with the way Whalen rebounded and settled down last night.

Who was it that said we wouldn't get anything worthwhile for kj and uribe last year? I think it was catfish. Sounds like catfish

We got Gant in that trade as well, and he had a good few starts before he went to the DL.

Could end up as one of Coppy's best deals.

Him or Kyle Loshe. Bradley is slated to pitch on Saturday for Mississippi.

Ender is so, so good defensively. Really hope we keep him around. Really helps the young pitchers imo. Important that he's here the next couple years.

I almost started a "Were all Wailin" ATL thread after the first inning last night.

Glad I didn't.

I've been watching him on the computer all night. A step forward but still really frustrating at times.

Just way too many uncompetitive pitches for my liking and he works at a snail's pace.

Even with good results like tonight, there have been multiple times where he's been ahead 0-2 or 1-2 and thrown a couple pitches just nowhere near the zone.

Really struggling here in the 7th with command (although Albies and Swanson should have turned 2 on on a groundball and didn't).
