@Gondeee posted a hypothetical late season lineup of
1 Albies S
2 Inciarte L
3 Swanson R
4 Freeman L
5 Markakis L
6 T-Flow R
7 Ruiz L
8 Mallex L
Thought it was intriguing

Sorry but I just had to pop in to say how much it makes me smile that the Braves are back to complete obscurity. That being said my team sucks just as bad right now and are not rebuilding

Should you really be throwing stones with your 8 wins?

Ozzie is struggling in aaa
I'm glad he's finally facing som adversity in the minors. Once he overcomes this--and he will--he will be much more ready to handle the transition to the majors.
Take Mallex for example, he struggled early after every single promotion. Same thing happened in the majors. He's stayed patient, worked through it, and now he's 8 for his last 15.
Not trying to speak for you and say you're concerned about Ozzie.. Just saw your comment as an opportunity to share my thoughts on him.

Good post. It's been 4 games. I'm glad he's finally getting challenged a bit in the minors. Unrealistic to expect him to just rake at every level without any speed bumps.
ETA - Gwinnett was in action early today. Ozzie just broke his hitless spell (was 0-4 previously) with a walk-off single in the 12th.

I would prefer we trade Markakis and Inciarte.

yes to Markakis, no to Inciarte imo.
when you going to hook a brother up with a counter or email?

Didn't know you were black, brother.

Hulk said brother all the time, brother.

Small sample but Swanson is raking at AA Mississippi. Everyone seems blown away by him.
quote:
• No. 6 overall prospect Dansby Swanson (Braves' No. 1) collected a season-high four hits and scored the go-ahead run as Double-A Mississippi defeated Tennessee, 8-7. The 2015 No. 1 overall Draft pick has been firing on all cylinders in his first full season but especially since his promotion to Mississippi, for whom he's hit .471 (8-for-17) with three extra-base hits and six RBIs in four games.

Are all three of these guys going to be ready by the end of this year?
Also, what should we expect the rotation to look like by the end of the year? Which SP prospects can we realistically say will make it to the show by the end of 2016?
Aaron Blair seems to be doing ok, just needs to limit the walks.
