Even the Tiger fans have to admit that it is shocking that of his 70-something wins, only 5 of them has he trailed coming into Sunday. That is just unbelievable that Tiger almost never makes a Sunday charge... in any tournament.

get your facts straight before bashing someone. i think it is in the 20's for come from behind wins.

Just dropping in to give a for Ernie. He was always my favorite golfer, and I modeled my game after his as a kid. I typically drop in major threads to predict him winning not thinking there is a very good chance of that happening. Couldn't be happier coming in from a shitty day of fishing to find out Ernie won, or Adam lost depending on how you view it

They posted his total come from behind wins early today before he teed off. Maybe that wasn't a complete list, but I'm pretty certain that he has either been tied for, or in sole possession of the lead for all but five of his career wins.

I do know for a fact that he has zero major wins when not having at least a share of the lead after 54 holes.

Maybe. I was just waking up when Tiger was getting ready to tee off, so cut me some slack.

its a dumb argument period, there was the same stigma when the metal woods were starting to be produced

Not the same arguement. Medal woods were a technology advancement that foreshadowed the inevitability of a complete switch to them. The long putter, on the other hand, is not a technology advancement but an alteration to the same technology.

That's we're the arguement lies. That it is an alteration, the same as illegal grooves.

In other words, we all use metal drivers today. Are you saying in 15 years we're all going to be using long putters?

i don't mind the long or belly putter, anchoring the putter is where the controversy begins

gotcha.

i just think that if you have over 20 pga tour wins coming from behind, then you are a pretty good come from behind player.
