Fitzpatrick was coming off a T14 at Augusta and T5 at Southern Hills

I have nothing against Homa but I don’t see it

Rory is more apt to shoot 75/75 and be gone than win a major. This merger has broken him.

If Max can’t play well this week, then I don’t know if we’ll ever see him truly contend. Even a top 20 would be great for him.

I like Spieth this week if he finds anything in the putter. Same obviously applies to Scheffler who has been hitting the ball absurdly good.

He had one T-10 or better in majors before 2022.

Idk if it’s because he simply makes it look easy..

But why don’t guys like Rory just copy what Brooks does the first couple days?

It looks like Brooks doesn’t even attempt to go low. Aims for the middle, might roll a couple in, and watch as everyone falls off the leaderboard. Enter the weekend 3 back and hit the throttle as it becomes necessary.

Nothing. But Big Cat and PFT always call him a disgusting pedo pervert as a joke. They are friends with him.

It's all about the setup. The Open loves to put a course on the very edge of the ability to play. When the ball hits the greens it often looks like one of those superballs of days gone by. Will they set this thing fair and square? Or will it look like they are putting on marble? It's the US Open, so who knows?

Most are commenting that LACC resembles Augusta in setup and playability. It was odd that the Irish commentators said that they didn't expect McIlroy to do much. The course doesn't suit his game. I would expect the SOCAL(UCLA/USC/Pepperdine) guys to do really well.

Makes no sense to say those things together. He has seven top 10s at Augusta

Go ask Rory's lap dog Eamon Lynch. He said it.

Ok. You go tell Eamon that makes zero sense. Augusta sets up very well for him, hence the top 10s. Same with Kopeka. Neither have won it, but it sets up well for both of them

And from what I heard, this course is similar in the sense it’s a second shot golf course. Players that can control and flight there long and mid irons should do well
