Sounds about right

That 4.5 spread just screams trap for Irish backers

True freshman QB for texas with a new OC. Texas could have a talented team, but I see them losing this game by 2 touchdowns.

Irish 48
t-sips 6

Poor horns have the worst defense in their history returning, and are basically trotting out the same offense that got shut out by Iowa state last year

Is that even really that big of a homer pick? Texas lost to them 38-3 last year. Texas was 3-3 at home last year with losses to Cal, OSU, and Tech. Wins at home were Rice, KSU, and Kansas.

The last couple of guys have attempted to put some reasoning into their posts (Frosh QB, zero depth on D that was historically bad last year, underwhelming home record the past few years).

Your only justification so far is the -4.5 line being a trap, which I admit is probably the strongest indicator, but why don't you tell us why Texas is going to reverse the 38-3 scoreline at home this year.

Again, I agree that the game screams trap but I'd be hard pressed to come up with reasons Texas could outright win

Irish passing game will be to strong. With two quarterbacks that can move the ball competing for starting spot they will continue to score late into the game. Brian Kelly very underrated coach with talented team.

Texas offense will struggle. Consistency will hurt them all season as it has in the past.

ND 34-13

And don't forget that strong has proven himself to be a horrible game coach

ND easily. Texas will be improved, but they're not as good as ND right now. I'll say ND by 2 TD's.

Definitely going under 60.5. Probably wouldn't touch the spread week 1

Tejas returns 7 starters on each side with most of the oline in tact with solid run game they ranked 16th i believe last yr ND was 75th in rushing Defense and imo they wont be as good this yr on D

Tejas 2 deep has more expeirence and they have key guys at all positions on D back

I like their new OC he will mix quick passes with runs if the Frosh Starts plus they have swoopes and heard to run as qbs

Its Revenge game in Primetime on Sunday night

Nd lost 4 receivers, the TE, 3 starters on the oline some solid production in defense

I think ND wins but i just dont think it will be a blow out and hence the spread at 4.5

The spread is low because of all the money pouring in on Texas from the fans thinking this year will be different

I saw BK is going with a 2 QB system. Is Texas starting Jerrod Heard?
