Clinton Portis was at least just as good as Davis. Don't forget that he was productive in Washington as well before injuries did him in.

Completely disagree. Portis had a good career, but TD was 1st team All-Pro three consecutive years and was named to the HOF's All-90s 2nd team behind Barry and Emmitt.

TD's time at the top might've been brief, but after his first 4 years in the league, his numbers compared favorably to Jim Brown and LT, according to Pro Football Reference.

why do adults who aren't in the nfl care about who is and who is not in the hall of fame? waste of time arguing about it

IMO the best running back that isn't in the Pro Football Hall of Fame is Herschel Walker

Had one of the most amazing and unusual careers in football history.

In the postseason, systems are irrelevant and the cream of the crop rises to the occasion. TD stepped up his game and was unstoppable against elite competition while others got shut down.

He was great for just long enough. Couple that with some of the best post-season play of all time, and that's what puts Terrell in the HoF for me.
