Look up Mathew Slater please. Guy works just as hard as Tebow, is very heavily involved in the community, and I believe is a team captain as a pure special teamer.

Hes been a team captain for a couple years now. Hes the guy that spoke to the entire football team after the Boston Bombings. Definition of a leader and 80 percent of the fans have never heard of him

Tebow's ability is questioned because he can't throw the ball

Tebow's lack of ability at the NFL level was demonstrated, not doubted.

The worst thing to happen to him was getting pressed into action at Denver. I said that then, and I'll say it now. He needs to hone his ability to throw the ball, and a place like the Arena League is the best place for that. I've been saying THAT for over two years now, too.

If it pleases you, then yes there are many players that work as hard, but very few that carried the burden in the publics and media that had to deal with the circus that followed him day after day. That was the point you missed.

The problem is no team wants him because of the media driven circus that will come with it.

He is done as a football player.

ESPN et al give us what we "want" to see.

And a 3+ page thread on the topic follows. That's on us, not the media.

The Arena League would love the attention. So would the CFL (another passing league where he can hone his skills).

That is not disputed and I agree.

What? Tebow was a Heisman Trophy 2 time national championship QB. I'm saying that other players work hard, wear their faith on their sleeve, and it irritates me that people put Tebow on that pedestal. There are a lot of hard working great people in NFL.

The CFL already said they didn't want him.

Why would the Arena League be any different?

Everyone complains about the Tebow coverage yet the same handful of posters are in every Tebow thread, like a bat signal, trying to throw in their two cents. How do you not understand that the Tebow coverage is in direct relation to how much you idiots like to talk about him, good or bad, constantly?

Knowledge and facts aren't allowed on the MSB.

Exactly.

And I'm not excluding myself because I'm one of those idiots

And why was there a "circus"? He was a first round QB and Heisman winner. Other first round Heisman picks had similar (and worse) scrutiny in the media.

And at the end of the day, the "circus" had absolutely NO impact on his ability to play the position of quarterback. He would have been an inaccurate passer who holds onto the ball too long and makes poor decisions with or without the "circus".

Nice subject change, considering you didn't mention the media once in your post everyone called you out for.

Tebow on that pedestal

Im not putting him on a pedestal nor am I fan of his. His was put in situations where and with his ability he wasn't going to succeed and he never complained. The media made a circus out of it. That is the point.
