I say false.

If they couldn't win with Wood, Prior, Zambrano, Sosa, or Dempster, Harden, Ramirez and Soriano how do they think they'll win with the likes of Lester, Hammel and Rizzo?

Joe Madden and Lou Piniella have exactly the same career winning % fyi..

Let's give this some perspective and try not to get caught up in the moment.

And the Cubs were pretty damn good in 2007 and 2008. Joe Maddon will get them rolling.

Unless you just mean collective talents they've had over the years
I was looking at their two most recent successful years 2003 and 2008. Some from the 2003 team were also on the 2008 team.

False

The Marlins are a much better team and is stacked with young talent and better players. If anyone becomes a young juggernaut, it's the Marlins.

But their owner is an asshat, he loves to tinker at the drop of a hat. That could be the only road block for Marlins.

I dunno Cubs have some top notch talent, probably more than the Marlins. Marlins have Stanton who is a top 3 hitter and Fernandez (if healthy) could be a top 5 starter.... if Bryant is what they say then he will be that top 5 hitter for the Cubs with Rizzo, Castro, Russel, Soler, etc could be scary

Astros never had this many top prospects, as rated by others

Not only does Miami have some stacked young talent, they have 5 in top 100 prospects(2 less than Cubs).

Also they have a couple players they could deal, and get a kings ransom in return.

Miami is a much better position. They have a very good team that is now talent. And one of the best players in the game.
