I didn't watch the game, but when I saw the threads, I thought, "holy shite what did he do?". I literally expected something so horrible. When I saw what actually happened, I almost laughed. It wasn't that bad.

He should get to play, its the playoffs, and Dallas is my second favorite team after the Cardinals. I wanna see the best in the playoffs.

I don't really care about suh or what happens from this situation, but the tape is pretty clear that he intentionally and unnecessarily placed his weight on the foot that was on Rodgers' leg.

Fine is probably the right punishment. Missing a playoff game for what amounts to a little over aggressive gamesmanship seemed harsh.

I disagree. You always know exactly where everyone's legs and feet are when getting off the pile, otherwise you'll be turning your own ankle every game. Nothing unclear about it. Maybe if we're talking about the death penalty but the burden of proof can't be that great for something like this

Intent motherfrickers!!! Doesn't that matter anymore? I love those who are saying he shouldn't be suspended for a playoff game. So if it was a regular season game, that would be more acceptable? Come on!

The guy is as dirty as they come. Just look at the eight times he has been fined and the two game suspension. If you think this incident should be viewed in a vacuum, you are crazy.

The NFL had to reduce the suspension to justify the legitimacy of its appeals process. Plain and simple.

The NFL dropped his "repeat offender" status as he had gone 32 games without a fine.

Why are people shocked

The players have proven time and time again, that they couldn't give 2 shits about each others safety.

You had headhunters getting away with hurting people and the NFLPA made sure they got as little of fines and suspension as possible. Reminds me of the NHLPA, who also don't give a frick if guys leave in body bags.

No way was Brooks or the NFL rep going to uphold the Suspension. The Commish is a liar, and the NFLPA doesnt give a shite about it's members, there are guys waiting to take their place and pay their dues.

Difference between stated and practiced policy. These are human beings after all and it is impossible to discount Suh's reputation. No way the incident draws a $70k fine if it is a first offense by someone with no reputation for dirty behavior.

This makes no sense. Based on his past, you either suspend him or give no punishment. The $70k fine shows that the NFL believes there was some intent to injure, but they'll just ignore the other ~10 times he's done shite like this?

Suh should be kicked out of the league. The NFL may be in the worst condition its ever been in. Wife beatings, steroids, child abuse, its disgusting Goodell.

Shouldn't matter that he's gone so long without a fine when you've had as many issues as he's had.

Ted Cottrell said in his ruling that he didn't believe Suh didn't feel Rodgers leg under his feet. But he overturned the suspension anyway.

Exhibit A in my contention (accusation) that the league just wants to appear legitimate in their appeals process.

Also what does the fine say? Are they saying he intended to step on him but just not that hard?

Exactly why this decision doesn't make much sense. He either intended to give the cheap shot or he didn't. I have no problem if he won his appeal because they didn't think it was intentional (I personally think it was) but this decision basically says that he did intend to harm but we don't care enough to suspend him for a playoff game.
