Daniel Cormier - Number 3 ranked heavyweight in the world is from Lafayette, and Kurt Hollobaugh will be making his Strikeforce debut hailing from Independence, Louisiana.

Not sure if serious. The ME is okay; Cormier is a 20-1 favorite which is probably not high enough.

Yeah, I meant stacked as in a bunch of big names, not necessarily great match-ups.

Marquardt, Cormier, Barnett, Jacare, & Gegard are all huge names. 3 of those guys are looking to challenge for a UFC belt almost immediately (and Souza is not far off either). Gilbert Melendez & Luke Rockhold were both on this card at one point as well. I think this might be Strikeforce's very last card. If not, the end is coming very soon for them......

Yea that's what I have picked up also. I haven't seen him fight though.
