Can one of you stat nerds figure out who has the best % from 10-16 feet ever? Or something close to that distance?

I have a background in mathematics, but the more I delve into advanced metrics, the more I watch basketball, the more I'm inclined to think most statistics aren't 100% objective(other than raw data which tells can tell you little about the game)...which is kind of the point of the metric revolution
O man how did I miss this post of your's. You should probably take some additional mathematics courses (or probability and statistics courses) before you start making inaccurate statements.

Your using subjective (belonging to the individual thinker) incorrectly. What you are most likely referring to is bias, accuracy, precision, reliability, validity etc. Each statistic or model will have varying degrees of each (some may be unbiased though) and none will be perfect. That, however, isn't "subjectivity." Advanced stats aren't perfect; neither are traditional statistics. Raw data also has problems. To dismiss a whole set of techniques, and incorrectly name the problem, is just ridiculous.
