Stolen from r/nba:

quote:

Heat vs. Mavericks - Heat
Heat vs. Thunder - Thunder
Heat vs. Spurs - Spurs
Heat vs. Spurs - Heat
Warriors vs. Cavs - Cavs
Warriors vs. Cavs - Warriors

The average person (someone who picks randomly) has a 1.6% chance to pick the loser 6 times in a row.

SAS is supposed to be an analyst with far superior knowledge and experience than an average person picking randomly.

Really quite an accomplishment.

I wonder if he truly believed those picks. I imagine he often got backed into a corner by his own hyperbolic remarks and was forced to pick certain teams just based on his own record.

Now Skip.
-Yes?
You KNOW I am deeply appreciative of the NBA Finals.
-Of course.
HOWEVER!

He picked the Cavs last year?

Are these pre-season picks, or a combo of pre-season and pre-finals picks?

Not sure, but I imagine those are pre-finals picks.

If they're preseason picks, then he's doing pretty well.

Weren't the Cavs actually favored to win the series last year at the start of the Finals?

Vegas favored, of course.

Probably because that was the role the producers assigned him.

If Kyrie doesnt get hurt he prolly is right. We would be looking at Cavs with 2 titles and Bron at 4

Because LeBron and Kyrie.

Jump shooting team wouldn't be able to perform at the same level they normally do when it's the finals. Not a terrible pick.

Peej is actually having a banner year.

He's missed a few big ones, but he's hitting at an unprecedented (for him) rate.

You need a much deeper explanation of how appreciative he is of the NBA Finals and some name dropping of people he knows
