Cut is projected to be -2. Can Steph shoot a 64?

The spot could've been given to another professional golfer.

But I digress.

Most of the time they are given to a local club pro, local pro who isnt qualified or local amateurs usually young ones that are superior high school or college players.

I know, I was just replying to the last comment with the question.

You're a bit feisty in this thread I see.

So if he doesn't finish DFL was a bad decision to have him play? Obviously the people who finished after him are less deserving than the poor person not given the exemption and people should be upset at them being allowed to play. Having Curry play in the tournament made the tournament much more money than if John Doe were playing in his spot. People need to chill out about him playing. He wasn't dead last after day one after all. Even if he does end up DFL, it was still a positive having him play for the tournament.

+4 for the front 9, +8 total. It would be impressive if he shot under par on the back 9. Doubtful, but impressive.

Looking like he will finish 3rd to last and notch two rounds in the 70's. Extremely impressive. I was way off. It's been fun to keep up with.

74's for a guy playing against pros who play year around for a living. It's his fricking hobby and he's at least not looking stupid out there.

It's incredibly impressive what he did, and it makes me wonder what Steph would shoot if he dedicated all his time to golf, like he dedicates to basketball. He already has the ability to hit great shots, but if he had the consistency of the pros (that comes with tons of practice), he'd give himself a great chance to contend.

When he's done with basketball he's going to give it a shot. We'll get to see.
