Na, they weasled their way to meet the min. Used the Sugar Bowl Prep Classic and used their JV team for like 5 games against lesser schools.
Weaseling or not, though, it would have sucked for the 1 seed to have had to play them in the first round before they did that.

I had heard this too. Kinda sucks it won't happen, it would have been kinda cool to see the top 2 teams in the first round, although it would suck for the seniors of whichever team lost
