At the time the show came out, wasn't that the correct ranking of all 4 schools? Ohio State still had that black eye from the 14 point beat down (7-6) Virginia Tech gave them in Columbus and as smaller schools, TCU and Baylor, were still not getting the attention they deserved.

Maryland and Rutgers weren't that bad last year. I mean not great teams, but as good as some of the teams in the SEC were early in the year

A soft schedule helped Ohio State as they limped along. No doubt, in December and January they were the best, but in the old days they would have fallen under the category of "teams that would be dangerous in a playoff" or "hottest team in the country", but in the old days winning it all was a pipe dream for such teams.

Well, when arguing about the conference, what happens in the conference is, you know, kind of important.
I don't give that much of a shite about SEC pride, but the whole argument by Kosmo has been the decline or overrated nature of the SEC. So, just a hunch, but the performance of the SEC seems relevant, no?

Because you appear to be combining accomplishments of all schools/conferences (only one of which is yours, as I understand), to compete against a single conference in declaring the reign of said conference over.
Honestly, I'm not overly concerned with whether you respect the SEC or are just trying to rustle the natives. But it is amusing to me that you're not content just to stand on OSU's accomplishments, but feel the need to bolster your claim by setting up the argument as every conference vs. SEC in order to make it a fair fight.
Which is likely true, of course.

I understand it's a trying time for SEC fans. Their conference lovefest and circle jerk over the success of Alabama and Florida is in peril.
