They will face the winner of SHSU and SFA Sunday at noon. Lion Up!

The way things are going all over, the Lions should be in. Their RPI is now 35.

Depends on how many bids the committee wants to give the Southland but their RPI of 35 should be good enough most years for an at large. Would behoove them to play Sam Houston St. in the final. I don't know if the Southland will get 3 bids and Sam Houston St. probably gets the bid over Southeastern since they won the conference and their RPI difference is negligible.

Yeah, I didn't go that far into depth. I am assuming SFA is not beating SHSU twice today.

SLU-SHSU final means both go to the NCAAs.

SFA beats Sam 1-0 to force rematch.

Southeastern needs to root for SHSU here or clench their butt cheeks real tight

Truth.

Of course, if they cannot beat SFA tomorrow with the pitching they have used up, shame on the Lions.

I'm an LSU alum, but I like to see all the colleges in Louisiana do well. I hope they get in and many other louisiana teams.

Slu needs to win or they won't get in.

SLU has to win to get in. It has been proven in past years.

I believe SLU has earned a spot, but the committee has made a habit over the years of not being kind to the Southland.

Rooting for the Lions to win it all.

To the poster above, NSU is definitely out. We layed an egg in the tourney and played our way out of any consideration.

We need to beat Sam Houston. If we didn't get swept the last weekend we would have one the regular season.
