so the Rocket is coming back (sort of)

these guys are playing in the National Baseball Congress World Series, made for college summer league teams, but Adam LaRoche got the idea to enter a team of retired players halfway playing for fun, and maybe 5% looking to prove they still can play
and you may remember some of them

Roy Oswalt, pitcher
Adam LaRoche, infielder

Dude couldn't be more than 25 years old. I spoke with his mom once at Baskin Robbins when Koby was injured during a HS game @ Memorial. Man, that broad sure does love attention.

I think it's definitely a playoff team drew and Uggla were pretty good in 2006
