They finished the year dead last in defensive rating

The Lakers needed a player that actually plays defense... Lonzo Ball won't remedy that

They were under a lot of local pressure to take the UCLA kid.

Was probably a catch 22 as the kid had the support of their fan base.

I want more lavar. I didn't realize I would like him so much. At this point I am not sure he is as serious as just playing this persona he has created.

Hey, if you have schtick, use it.

Can't distinguish if Lavar has a punchable face b/c of his antics, or because he actually has one of the most punchable faces in the world right now

"Fun to watch" yeah okay! Now you have to deal with a attention white of a dad that will say some dumb shite about a coach, players or in the organization.

I like Ball. He will excel and do very well in this league. His game is tailor made for the current NBA. If he truly wishes to be an all-time great he has all the resources available to do so. But, he will get ate up by elite point guards in this league defensively. He needs to work on his footwork defensively in the absolute worse way.

As for his father?? A clown. He loves his sons and seems to be very involved with their welfare. That is great and desperately needed among our culture, but I be damned he can't keep his mouth shut. It gets old as frick.

You can't say to tune him away because I'm trying to watch his freaking son play ball or hear what his son has to say, but his dad is always f'ing it all up.
