the ones i mentioned don't... okay i take it back a little bc public schools have dontae jackson, the raymonds at EJ...

but every catholic school has two players like that a year, curtis has 4, and st. aug has 6

hence why everyone is who they is

Meh, I think at least half of those schools have more talent than Curtis has. There are actually plenty of kids at Curtis who wouldn't start at EJ.

the ones in jefferson parish that he mentioned, yea. If you're any good you're at Curtis or Rummel, or one of the other nola catholic schools.

everyone once in a while you have a perfect storm like EJ had this past year.

Bonnabel hasnt been relevant in like 30 years, Grace King, ever?

Donte Jackson at Riverdale is the first highly recruited guy I can remember from there since Ive been alive.

well EJ was because of Coach Salt... he can win anywhere

JP didn't want to pay him what he was worth...

the thing is, a coach like Salt can turn the perfect storm of talent into state champions... you put that talent into the hands of, say, an average coach and you'll get average results

well, they had good players too, and benefited from the broken divisions. He's an ok coach

nah... none of the 4A select schools could have played with EJ, Karr, Landry-Walker, Warren Easton, or Neville

There was only 4 of them and it's not like Vandy and Loyola are powerhouses. 4A non-select was pretty bad this year. None even made it past the quarters.
