So how will the nostalgics spin this scenario?

The whole "league better in my day argument" with all the great teams that today couldn't play with. OKC is about to beat a 67 W team, a 73 W team, and still might not even win the finals.

What's the spin guys? Before it was GS is overrated because the league sucks (by some people). Now OKC is about to beat its second all-time type team in the same postseason, and still not a lock for a title.

Wouldn't the opposite argument be true? That the Spurs and GS crushed a lot of shitty teams, and simply aren't that good? OKC clearly isn't a great team.

We will say that the NBA was better in the 80s and early 90s.

Because it was.

Next question.

It wasn't. There were just less teams and easier to keep your teams together.

League is better now.

It's all about matchups. The Thunder matchup extremely well with the Warriors and not so good with the Cavs. As far as the spurs go, they just outlasted. The spurs are too old. The Cavs will win the title if OKC wins this series
