Atlanta was 13-3 and lost in the NFC championship. Sometimes you just don't get it done in the playoffs. It's a crapshoot, like I said. Everything has to roll your way to win a super bowl and it did that year for the saints

I mean I get what you're saying. Best example is 2007 with the giants pats. The pats beat them a month earlier. Sometimes the best team in theory doesn't win the SB.

That was never my point. My point by including the saints was to show that even a historically awful franchise(not unlike the Falcons) can win a super bowl
