It's an expectation in Black Man Culture. Being called a gayboy is about the worst thing you can call them.

I imagine there are at least 50 instances of people being called a fgt on the field per game. I just found it peculiar that it blew up this time.

When it happens over and over, at some point it reaches a boiling point. Did you hear Ray Lewis say that he talked to Odell before the game and told him don't let anyone question your manhood? Sounds like Odell has been talking to former players about it for a while and the advice he has been receiving has been to stand up for himself.

I don't disagree with you at all, but I wonder where that would fall into the new progressive NFLs view on hate speech and what words are allowed to be said on the field? Racial slurs are a no-no but homophobic ones aren't?
*IMO they shouldn't be policing anything the players say on the field, but they do, so where is the line?

It's funny you bring this up because a guy on my Facebook posted about it today, saying how back when he was growing up (he's black) they dressed like "men" and now black guys are dressing like gay dudes.
