Mike Mayock's #1 rated CB of the draft and basically a 1st round lock. I feel terrible for him. No news on the severity of it yet, but it sounds like it could be serious.

Getting a bunch of texts from scouts at UW & it sounds like Sidney Jones suffered a significant lower leg injury. Feel terrible for him.

Wow that's awful. That's gotta suck going through the whole season fine and then getting a month away from the draft and what sounds like a freak injury occured. I hope he had insurance

I hate to speculate, but after watching the video it looks like it could just be his hamstring which would be a best case scenario for a non-contact injury for him.

Yeah, can't see the beginning of the fall but it looks like he grabbed his hamstring.

Not confirmed by any means, but one of the UW reporters who is at the pro day says that the word going around is a torn achilles.

Chatter here at UW's Pro Day is Sidney Jones suffered an Achilles injury during final DB drill.

Talk about a bad day. Final drill too.

Torn achilles is an easy one for them to see clinically. Sorry to hear for the player.

Have you ever torn an Achilles? That is one of the worst injuries you can get and the rehab and recovery is brutal.

Ruptured my left one, tore my right. frick that. The rupture recovery after surgery was a bitch. I hope for his sake it is just a tear.

He was saying it's one that's pretty clear to diagnose immediately I believe, not commenting on recovery.

Sucks to happen like this in the last drill, which was probably meaningless anyway as he probably would've been a first round lock even if he performed terribly at the pro-day.

Why would you have a "pro day" if you've already attended the combine?
I guess he's still in college and didn't go to the combine? But then it has his combine 40 time..

I'm confused, but IF he was at combine, wtf is he doing this for?

I mean you could say that about all prospects in the predraft process, but perhaps it's another opportunity to show off towards the scouts/coaches/GMs.
