So if new year's Eve falls on a Saturday, they'll try that disaster again?

I think the biggest issue is people having to work moreso than it being on New Year's Eve. People always have TVs on during parties. It's not ideal, but CFB owns Saturday's more than NYE does.

Meh...they may own Saturday. But they will take a ratings hit if a NYE/Saturday events does take place. Nevertheless, this a step in the right direction.

If it's on NYE then just have them earlier.

The semifinal games need to be the last two games on New Years Day, unless NYD is a Sunday, they then need to be on Jan 2.

I completely disagree. I have a big wedding to go to this new years. It isn't the only wedding I have heard of.

New Years on a Saturday sparks more parties since traveling is easier.

Bitches love New years; it is a really tough sell for anyone in a relationship.
