I think both have a solid argument. USC is the better win, but Jesus Christ LSU just destroyed a power 5 program.

Apples and Oranges. Please respect LSU as they had to out scheme Drew Brees today too (in addition to an unranked BigTen team).

LSU beat a 5 loss team that was missing how many starters? Vs Tulane beating a top 10 team with their Heisman winning QB

Tulane deserves to finish ahead of LSU in the final rankings.

Yes they should have already been higher than 16 anyway.

USC will probably be preseason top 5 so I’ll go with yes. Purdue won’t be ranked and wasn’t at the time of the LSU game.

Yes, but LSU destroyed a mediocre team without a coach or their QB and top WR and that’s worth a lot being from the SEC.

i wouldn't be mad at it... LSU finishes around 12-15, Tulane finishes 10-12

LSU is probably undefeated with Tulane’s schedule(Bama exposed KSU) and the win over Alabama is way better than anything Tulane has.

Also it’s a nice Cinderella story but we all know LSU would destroy Tulane if both are at full force.
