Exactly. Not sure where some people are thinking Zeke had been doing great in the first quarter. I think it's just people disappointed in tOSU's inability to move the ball and wishing they had fed him the ball more in hindsight.

Right now it looks like Michigan will finish you off.

I'm not sure if you want that to happen or if you think it will happen. I think it will happen, but I don't want it to happen. I actually predicted a MSU victory over the Buckeyes three weeks ago. But that was assuming Connor Cook was going to play. shite, with moron Beck calling plays, MSU didn't even need an offense. Just a guy to field punts with sure hands who can break one down the sidelines for a TD. Very horrible game plan. Props to Sparty though. That D-line is Bama-esque. The secondary is average at best. But they will be well rested because Ohio State only threw 2 passes all night. Hell, they knew that was the plan they should have just let Braxton Miller QB run all night. Beck sucks. LSU- want to trade your OC for OSU's?

In that game, with the way our defense was playing, 7 yards might as well have been 70. Hell, even his average would have been better than what they were getting from the same play over and over again. QB sweep on 3rd and 9 is stupid, any way you cut it.

Neither offense was great, but the small amount of success cam when Zeke was consistently getting the ball. If he had been given 25 carries, they'd have had a better shot, than running the QB did.

It's just the reality. This isn't hindsight, this was happening during the game.

I watched the entire game. MAYBE Elliot would have been significantly more successful. Maybe not. He wasn't highly effective when he had the ball.

When the defense is stuffing you, one would think a highly mobile QB at least gives you the threat of a pass, loosening the run D. It didn't work, but it makes some sense.

Good game atmosphere?

Kinda but it's hard to really be too harsh considering it was raining nonstop and freezing cold.

There's no "maybe" about it. Anything would have been more effective.

Other than the two drives after turnovers, we could have punted on first down for the rest of the game and been just as effective.

Urban is right to stick up for him, and maybe have him running some extra sprints. It's okay to have an opinion and express yourself. But also remember your place lol

The season SPLITS really show the error in the play calling.

Zeke has gained 525 yards on 110 carries in the first half for 4.77 YPC.

Zeke has gained 933 yards on 122 carries in the second half for 7.65 YPC.

You don't go away from the RB who gets better as the game progresses, especially since they weren't passing.

Of course he is gonna defend him. Winning is the most important thing to Urban. Not morals or logic

Urban said it was the wrong forum, but he was right. Is that not an accurate statement? Would you rather Urban say something untrue?

What morals or logic are in play here?

Also, shouldn't you be worried about your own school's issues right now?
