So if Zito gets to 200 inn, he is automatically on the roster next yr?? That sucks

yep. and @ $18 million no less. but the front office won't let that happen. he's at 91 innings right now so all they have to do is skip him a few turns.

not really. Halladay is a big name but he's a fossil. there's some solid guys that would do well in SF thought I think as a #3: Arroyo, Kuroda, Maholm.

Yea I just did the math, he's thrown 99 innings so far.

I estimate 14 more starts this season max

That's about 7 innings per start, no way that happens

What about lincecum?

Can they really bring him back as a starter? What kinda money can he make as a FA?

Yeah they could. I'd say he'd get anywhere between $10 and $15 mil depending on the team and their needs + willingness to take a chance.

Yea I guess so, I'd be pissed off if I were a season ticket holder and every time tim was pitching I knew there was about a 10% chance of a win

Yea I just checked his starts, the giants are actually 7-11 in games he has started this season. Not as bad as I thought

Won in his first 4 starts this year

June 4th was the last time we won a game started by Tim, he can't pitch and hit too I guess

frick me to tears this team is so terrible right now. I watched that entire 16 inning debacle and the granny last night. Thankfully work kept me away from watching Wheeler deal against us :(

it's been a rough stretch brotha. still have a good core group, just need the guys who are getting paid to produce to actually produce and for the role players to step up their game as well.

Don't get the hate

He was very good for the Giants down the stretch. It's not his fault that your GM gave up a top prospect for a rental.
