Another big story line from this game is the continued terrible decision making by Jeff Banister about his insistence on pitching Tanner Scheppers in the 8th inning. He has been terrible. Last night Scheppers could not even get one out and allowed three runs to score, blowing a win for Hamels who had gotten two outs already.
And this has been pretty typical for Scheppers lately.
