I think it depends on how much the other teams offer him
I think you'd be surprised by how much we'd want him back even at this level BUT if some other team is gonna pay him based on potential instead of reality (it's likely one will) then of course we will wave as he walks outta town

I agree on the price. But if he's gonna want what's been mentioned about him cardinals gonna stick that middle finger up and roll with Grichuk, which is fine by me. Even with Holliday getting old we still got Piscotty and could sign another FA.

Yea I won't be hurt either way, I still think his defense/base running are still underrated especially when you consider the position we are in offensively and who knows, he sticks around a couple of years and maybe one day it clicks and he reaches full potential
But of course, it all depends on price
ETA: to be clear, I think it's 70/30 he leaves but our front office isn't ignorant to how good he's been defensively. And he has been EXCELLENT IMO
