Took a foul ball straight off his knee cap, it hit straight on the catching gear but I'm sure it still hurt like a son of a bitch
He reacted like it did, kept playing but I'm betting it tightened up once he sat in the dugout for a while
There's always a chance it's more but shouldn't be any damage just be sore and swollen

Our starters have been going deep all year, pen should be plenty rested.

Key word being "should", it's not that they are running up high pitch counts but in 4 or 5 games already, even when the starter went 6+ innings, Mattheny has switched pitchers so many times we were almost out by the end of the game or were on our last pitcher
