Big 10, no question. Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania State would all beat Florida.

Top to bottom - Big 10 this year. Bama may very well go 2-0 against them in the playoff though.

SEC has a better record vs. tougher overall schedule. Virtually every metric has SEC better than the Big Ten.

Entering today, Missouri was the worst SEC team and was #69 in the Massey Composite. Four Big Ten teams are ranked significantly lower.

if you think a conference is defined by its top then the B1G
if you think a conference is defined by its its bottom teams than its the SEC

Big 10 and it ain't even close. The SEC was garbage this year. Every team but Bama has at least 4 losses

SEC East was as good as the west minus Bama. Which is to say, not very good.

Big Ten.

The big ten has 4 teams in the top ten. All that matters.

If we are basing conference strength on all 14 teams, the SEC wins. If we are counting team that are at least somewhat relevant the Big 10 wins.
