The South is growing in population and economy. The SEC supposedly has "speed" among its population. The SEC needs to add UNC and UVA immediately. Lock up those two states. NC and VA are growing. Then take FSU. Florida is big enough for two SEC schools. Then it should take another school in Texas (SMU, TCU, Houston, TT, Baylor or even Rice). No need for Clemson with South Carolina in the conference.

If the Big Ten wants to go South they can take the lesser schools in Miami or Georgia Tech.

Let’s reverse all the realignment decisions in the past 20 yrs.

I disagree. Suwanee and Tulane are the obvious choices.

I think TTU would love to be in the conference. But it would water down the SEC from a great deal.

The SEC is far and away the best conference and just added Texas and OU. They don’t need to do anything right now

Does Clumpson really have much value besides the recent FB success? Even with that I feel their brand is smaller compared to an FSU or UNC.

I’d take Oklahoma State over UNC or VA

I think FSU is pretty over valued. UNC has a lot of appeal to both the BIG and the SEC.

SEC needs not to over react. No reason to expand to more than 16 right now. Let's adjust to two new teams and the new TV deal.

They don't have enough value for the SEC to add them. UNC or FSU add more value to the SEC. Texas is big enough to add TT or the other schools. UNC and UVA add new markets. The Big Ten then has to choose between doubling down on California or taking lesser brands in
GA Tech or Miami. I would not let the Big Ten take UNC and UVA.

I said it in another thread, the SEC is doing the smart thing by staying regional for the most part. The biggest outlier is Oklahoma but even still they culturally are similar to a lot of SEC schools.

The Big 10 is going to run into an issue where you have a bunch of different cultures that are going to clash at some point. And I feel like inevitably in 10 years you’ll have some schools start getting tired of the amount of travel they have to do and pay for.

Yet you want to add teams that when we play them, everyone talks about how they don't have the speed to play us.

You gotta pick one. They either have it or they don't

The proper answer. This crap is watering the sport down.

Still a lot of dead weight in the B10 and less of a market for all these conference TV deals. This is the next step towards the inevitable (and not good imo) conclusion of a 1 conference BCS league.

They are going to mess around and destroy all the great historical rivalries and kill this sport.

Honestly, would love West Virginia and Virginia Tech. Cultural fit and the final piece to the Confederacy Conference.
