If refs are told to throw a flag if it is close, it needs to be confirmed by the replay booth. It is ridiculous.

That felt like such a cheap TD. Hopefully the difference of kicking a FG there instead doesn't decide the game.

I think they should fine the ref that makes a bad call that affects the outcome of a game like this one.

True. But it wouldn't surprise me if the 49ers don't cross midfield for the rest of the game which would make the call meaningless.
