Scott Van Pelt To Leave ESPN Radio's 'SVP And Russillo' To Host ESPN's Midnight

“We are interested in the late night spot. We’ve got all these lead-in games and … leading into what?” ESPN President John Skipper said at the time.
The timing of the “SportsCenter” shake-up is far from coincidental. Ratings for ESPN’s flagship show have been sagging for some time now, and the network also announced Tuesday that it was adding two hours of live “SportsCenter” from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. starting in February.

Wait what? Am I reading that wrong or does that say SVP will be leaving one of the best most listened to radio shows, for a spot on sportscenter at midnight? That makes no sense.
I did hear them joking around last week something about Rusillo leaving with Bill Simmons, I didn't take it seriously though. Maybe they were being serious?

Being too likable
They have also been not so subtly digging into first take lately. Calling out skips race shite with philly and skips stupid LBJ takes
I'd be broken hearted if this happens. Svp and Russillo are the best national radio show
