I don't give a crap about running up the score one way or another, but if I did, I'd say this:

I will never feel angry at one of the following, nor will I ever feel sympathy for one of their opponents (BCS or BCS-caliber opponents only), if they run up the score:

Army
Duke
Navy
Northwestern
Rice
Southern Methodist
Stanford
Syracuse
Temple
Tulane
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest

Notable omissions/reasons
Baylor – added to Big XII because of politics and not because of merit.

If one of the schools above runs the score up on you, and you're a BCS school who isn't on this list, you deserve the humiliation you're receiving.

Figured they'd come up in the conversation. Sure.

I will take this in the other direction, Everyone, but especially TCU, Houston, Texas and Texas A&M have carte blanche to throw deep up 56-0 in the 4th on Baylor because they got in the Big 12 because of politics.

that doesn't mean they should actually run up the score... they can be the bigger team and maybe NOT do so if they find themselves in a winning situation

Not arguing, just don't know what you mean here. Please educate.

We can call them "F Anne Richards and F Bob Bullock" games.

The governor and lieutenant governor of Texas at the time were both Baylor grads. I don't know the exact story here, but I'm guessing if they had been TCU grads, we might be seeing the game of the century this week.

The more or less threatened to cut funding for Ut and A&M if they didn't take Baylor with them to the Big XII

Or if they had just stayed out of it, TCU and UH were the preferred choices to join the Big XII
