Where does the pass rush come from? Are they switching to a 3-4?

Preparing for Matty Melt contract and a few big names I'm sure. I hope they trade their whole draft away again.

I think the Falcons are trying to free up cap room to sign Dwight Freeney.

Honestly they are doing what I wish the Saints would. Cutting overpriced vets, not getting attached, and moving on to the next batch. You have to be ruthless in an NFL front office.

The difference is Abraham was still producing relative to his contract, unlike Will Smith

It would be sweet if the Falcons cut those guys and signed geezers like Freeney and SJax. And gave Ryan a massive contract.

Dwight Freeney is 33, John Abraham is 35.

Michael Turner is 31, Stephen Jackson is 29.

I am not quite understanding the "geezers" part.

In TD we trust.

Most of his moves have worked so I look forward to watching the plan this offseason.

Going to sign a replacement for Abe and draft pass rush in round 1 hopefully.

We will most likely grab a DE/RB in FA now, draft DE in first rd, and hopefully this indicates tony is coming back.

ETA def switching to a 3-4

They are both close to being done IMO. Yeah it would be an upgrade, but for what, a year? Two? RBs at 29 with the pounding that SJax has taken fall off a cliff.
