Samantha Ponder to take over for Berman on Sunday NFL Countdown

Miller notes that nothing is set in stone at this point but, considering Miller wrote the oral histories of ESPN and talent agency CAA and Ponder is a CAA client, the sourcing on this one is as good as gold.

I imagine the thought process is there's enough "star power" on that show that you don't need another huge personality. Just someone who can moderate well. Wingo would have been a good choice, but perhaps he didn't want it.

Kinda sucks for Wingo, dude has been waiting in the wings for decades, and he gets beat out by a CFB Sideline Reporter. Suzy as well, she's been there since the 90's I believe too

I think Suzy Kolber was with FOX in the '90s. She was a studio host for their last year of NHL coverage. I think she was on FSN and their National Sports Report.
