By the way, saying
quote:

LSU fans are also Saints fans

And the saying
quote:

Saints fans aren't LSU fans

Doesn't make any sense...

With that said
LSU >>>>>>> Saints
Baton Rouge > NOLA

They couldn't even fill tiger stadium half way. 1 more point for the tigers

I give LSU 10 out of 10 and Saints 9.9 out of 10.

Not really. See LSU pre-2003. Saints fan have are arguably been the most loyal in the NFL.

WTF? At one point they couldn't even sell out a playoff game. Close to a blackout. I think it was that RAMS playoff game.

The fact that this is even a debate startles me

Me too. Saints fans saying they aren't delusional is pretty hilarious also.

Nobody was remotely impressed with Saints fans before 2006.

2)LSU is the ENTIRE state's football team, while the Saints are the New Orleans' area team.

Hmm there's a lot of fan bases from smaller schools that HATE LSU. I'd say the SAINTS are Louisiana's team because they bring in people from all over the state no matter if they are poor, rich, black, white, etc.

They hate LSU because everyone around them is LSU fans. That's an extreme minority. New Orleans is pretty much the only city in Louisiana that isn't totally dominated by LSU fans (mostly because of NOLA resident's inexplicable superiority complex)

LOL half the state has more Cowboys fans than Saints fans. Even BR has a very large diversity of NFL fans.

Why don't the Saints play in a 90-100k seat stadium then?

It used to. BUT the NCAA has passed it up in my mind. Having said that The Saints fans are the most loyal fans in NFL history.

Not according to the people. NFL TV ratings far far far outweigh CF TV ratings. Google it and you wil be surprised. FRick, the BCS CG game barely keeps up with a Monday night football game. BCS bowl games don't even keep up with NFL regular season games on TV. ANY way you slice it, the ratings in the NFL are much better and even in the south.
