He's kind of a whiny bitch. Not sure his exact point, but I seem to recall a number of times ESPN has some famous guests on campus all day rotating through TV and radio shows.

I like Russillo, but venting on Twitter about your job is dumb. I am starting to lean towards the "wants to get out of his contract" line of thinking.

i just think things are starting to build up for him. i don't think he's ever thought the show has gotten the push mike & mike and lebatard have gotten. and i think he is probably pretty pissed about kannell being canned. any future slights he is going to take pretty personal from here on out.

That's the problem dude. these athletes have almost nothing to say when they come on the show since they've said the same thing 6 times within the previous 2 hours

Smart guy. Should have done this a couple of weeks ago. That way he could have been in the layoff line and getting paid to not work anymore.

The LeBatard show has raised complaints about promos during their show in the past as well, although their's was different.
They complained that promos were claiming "the biggest names in sports talk here" and then listing Josh Norman and Dabo Swinney talking on Mike and Mike, etc. and then their guest: Ty Detmer

I could be mistaken, but isn't he in the least lucrative time slot during the day? If so, it makes sense.
I'm sure he's pissed though. He's been bumped to ESPN Xtra on Sirius/XM and Stephen A is on regular ESPN.

it is nothing new. SVP complained about the same thing back when he was on.

He did just drop a hot take the other day that NBA players tend to overreact when a white guys fouls them hard. Like the kelly olynyk play the other day.
It is probably true too but that is a very Un-ESPN take.

which is a shame because when svp was on it was the best sports talk radio show you could listen to. kannell, while no svp, made that show fantastic during football season.
