I never understand when players travel in basketball like this. I understand when you are driving to the rim and you needed an extra step to get around the defender. When I played basketball I dribbled the ball every time before I took a step. I have seen a lot of bad basketball games but I don't think I've ever seen a dude take 5 steps before dribbling a basketball when he wasn't guarded or close to the goal.

The easy answer is they can get away with it most times. The NBA refs are normally very lax on that issue.

I don't care that much about most non calls, but every ref who's responsibility to watch that Brewer play should be fired.
